Leading the market in the forestry sector across both Australia and New Zealand, PF Olsen planted over 15 million trees in NZ last year, manage over 160,000 ha of sustainable plantation forest in NZ as well as over 212,000 ha in Australia. The key focus of this role is to support strategic initiatives, with a focus on professionalism, sustainable business growth while delivering value to the people side of the business. This is a key role within the business influencing developing and engaging people, fostering a high-performing team culture and enhancing the employer brand industry wide. Within this role you will provide hands-on HR/ER support across the company, ensuring consistency and alignment across both Australia and NZ businesses.
Key areas of accountability include;
- Delivery of sound HR/ER solutions across the business
- Staff onboarding, training and development
- Recruitment and selection support
- HR administrative duties including record keeping and project coordination
- Payroll administration and cover when necessary for payroll administrator
With a relevant tertiary qualification and experience within a similar role, you’ll have proven experience and working knowledge of NZ employment legislation, employment relations and HR operations, systems and procedures, adopting a ‘best practise’ approach.
