**The Company**:

**The Role**:
Our client is restructuring their security team and as part of this transformation, they are doubling their focus on secure development initiatives.

You will have experience as a Software Engineer with an emphasis on security or as a Security Tester with some coding experience.

**Responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Leading the way when it comes to shifting our security mindset left.
- Extending and maintaining secure DevOps tooling
- including dependency analysis, static code analysis, and compliance tools.
- Managing the integration of secure DevOps tooling into existing pipelines.
- Running secure development workshops for new engineers.
- Work with Engineering and security stakeholders to drive secure development initiatives.

**To be successful**:

- Experience with DevOps tooling - i.e. Chef, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, and Venafi
- Experience with Virtualisation and containerisation platforms
- Experience with public cloud platforms that improve our path and time to compliance
- A strong desire to extend security tooling to public cloud
- A solid understanding of network architecture and network security.
- Experience with certificate management and KPI
- Experience with detecting security vulnerabilities, be that via reading source code or discovery via penetration testing tools
- Experience with languages such as Java, Scala, Go, Python, Bash, and Ruby. With the ability to speak developers language and translate
- Familiarity with secure DevOps methodologies.
