**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our on-site Auckland Hospital team. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, and as a member of the Supply Chain leadership team, you will confidently lead a team of twenty-two.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Motivating and engaging team members whilst creating an environment that enables them to perform their roles to their best.
- Promoting and supporting our strong workplace safety culture with all site staff, contractors and visitors.
- Collaborate and build relationships with a variety of key stakeholders.
- Providing direction and leadership to the Distribution/Inwards team; managing the flow of work through the warehouse and ensure resource is matched effectively to demand.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of deliveries.
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of efficient and effective processes
- Provide responsive, efficient and timely customer service through the optimisation of logistics related resources and minimisation of distribution cost.
- Maintenance and ongoing improvement of the logistics activity, systems and processes.

**Mōu | About you**

We are looking for a self-motivated person with experience in a leadership role in warehousing and or fast-moving consumables or complex supply chain. You will also possess the following:

- 2-3 years’ experience in people leadership and performance management
- Sound understanding of business performance measures and improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Use of inventory management technology & systems
- Experience with stock management
- Team player, who can work collaboratively alongside other members of the supply chain leadership team
