**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Kaiako to teach tauira Te Rōnakitanga ki te Reo Kairangi Level 5. This programme is done through face-to-face delivery at our Whanganui campus and is ideal for someone that likes to connect and engage with tauira.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To develop lesson plans and presenting material to tauira
- Monitor and assess assignments, evaluate tauira progress and enabling tauira achievement
- Continuously support, motivate and inspire tauira by promoting a collaborative, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
**Ideally you will have**:
- Degree qualification in Te Reo Māori (L7 and higher);
- Diploma in Adult & Tertiary teaching L5;
- NZ Certificate in Literacy and Numeracy L5:
- 3yrs experience in a related role with full immersion in te reo Māori;
- Fluent in Spoken & written te reo Māori
