We are looking for a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our Steel Plant on a 3-years fixed-term basis.

**What you will be doing**

With a strong focus on technical and management skills you will be leading a team while working to optimize the plant and equipment in order to achieve the required performance and quality outcomes, this role requires a strong focus on leadership.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Daily Supervision and Leadership of the Maintenance Team
- Supporting the team in ongoing plant and process improvements
- Support the plant with personnel and shutdown management.

**What you will bring to the role**

You will need to be a motivated and organized individual who enjoys working for a forward-thinking organisation. With a commitment to meeting targets, high quality standards and safe work practices, you will need to have:

- A relevant Electrical or Mechanical qualification with experience in the Industry
- Front line supervision and leadership experience
- Knowledge of SAP maintenance systems, shut management and planning skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Be a team player, able to relate to and develop relationships with a wide cross section of key internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
