**Civil Site/Project Engineer - based in Hamilton**
Are you a driven and experienced Site/Project Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We have an excellent opportunity available in Hamilton for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team. Reporting to the Projects Divisional Manager, you'll have the chance to showcase your expertise while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
**Role Overview**:
As a Site Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the projects division, supporting Project Managers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and company policies, as well as coordinating site crews, subcontractors, and plant resources through effective planning and communication.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to oversee project operations.
- Ensure that all work is executed in accordance with relevant specifications, legislation, and company policies.
- Efficiently manage site crews, subcontractors, and plant resources through strategic planning and clear communication.
- Prioritize Health and Safety as the number one priority, taking a proactive approach to promote a safe working environment.
- Mediate and resolve issues promptly and calmly to maintain project momentum and positive relationships.

**Desired Qualifications and Skills**:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated on-site project experience, showcasing your ability to manage projects effectively.
- Strong self-management skills to ensure efficient task execution and project delivery.
- A proactive approach towards Health and Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.
- Excellent mediation skills to address and resolve issues swiftly and calmly.
**Salary**: $100k - $120k
- Due to the urgency of this role, we are only considering those who have unrestricted New Zealand working rights (work visa, residency or citizenship)_
