This is a unique opportunity to join our Beca Project Strategy & Delivery team in Tāmaki Makaurau.

We are the largest project management services organisation in New Zealand. Our Auckland-based team of 100+ consultants is undergoing significant growth and we have roles available for developing and experienced practitioners.

You will join a professional services team known for leading the successful establishment and delivery of some of the largest and most complex projects and programmes in New Zealand. You will be able to learn from industry leaders in a collaborative and truly multi-disciplinary business while broadening your experience by working with public and private sector clients developing critical infrastructure, airport, defence, education, water and building sector assets.

**Te rongoā | About you**

You will be an experienced consultant or delivery leader with the credibility, confidence, and ability to operate across projects and programmes of all sizes. You are action oriented and will bring your knowledge, insights and experience as an advisor, consultant and leader.
- 8-12 years’ experience managing and leading capital works projects or programmes, providing you with a good understanding the local market, business, and operating environment.
- You will be confident and personable with excellent communications, leadership, writing and facilitation skills.
- You will have a technical qualification in engineering, architecture or similar, you may also have further qualifications in management.
- You may have specialist skills in contracts & procurement (NZS3910, CCCS, NEC or similar), design management, risk, project planning or controls.
- You may have experience on major projects, PMOs, alliances or similar.
- You may already be chartered or be working towards an industry recognised accreditation.

You may have gained this experience through your work as a consultant, client-side project manager or within a main contractor’s organisation.

You will be a great communicator who can positively influence, guide and lead projects by building credible relationships. You will know when to encourage, support and challenge teams to drive positive client outcomes. You will be an energetic and passionate contributor with a good understanding of the local New Zealand sector, potentially balanced with overseas experiences.
