**Purpose of Position**:
To support clinical quality improvements, education and initiatives across the CHT Care Homes.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Quality Lead to deliver the Clinical Quality Strategy
- Support clinical risk mitigation across the CHT care homes
- Collate data, review, analyse and report
- Identify themes and trends and recommend / develop initiatives or training
- Provide education and training to support quality initiatives and improvements
- Participate in continuous improvement projects across the care homes
- Support the audit process as needed
- Work with the Learning & Development Advisor on clinical training
- Maintain competency in knowledge and clinical practice appropriate to the role
- Support CHT in creating and maintaining a responsive and respectful culture that integrates our values, enables diversity and is culturally appropriate

Ideal Person Specification
- Compassionate and caring, with empathy for the older population, with a working knowledge of aged residential care
- Excellent risk assessment skills
- Effective in coaching and mentoring, driving improvements and best practice
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience and Practising Certificate
- Strong communicator, with excellent oral and written communication skills, with clear spoken English
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality reporting
- Critical thinker, able to work autonomously, across care homes and with key stakeholders
- Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of VCare
- Current full driver’s licence and able to travel.
