Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
This is a 6 month contract role to assist during a busy period.
As a procurement analyst you will be responsible for delivering insights based on data and market analysis throughout the procurement lifecycle, and produce analytics to enable procurement to strategically negotiate better value, benefits and outcomes.

**You will**:

- Deliver insights based on data and market analysis, throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Develop, maintain and measure the impact of the change and assess benefits realisation against anticipated benefits
- Produce analytics to enable national procurement to strategically negotiate better value, benefits, and outcomes
- Identify where further value opportunities exist through comparative analysis and other methods
- Gather information to assist in the assessment of existing suppliers' actual performance

Mōu | About you
This role will suit an energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be able to build relationships across the team and be able to deliver on time and to tight deadlines. This is a busy role and requires someone who enjoys working at a fast pace.

**You will also have**:

- Superb analytical skills, with at least 3 years' relevant experience in business or procurement analytics
- Tertiary qualification, ideally in either business or commerce
- Knowledge of end to end procurement and supply chain
- Know how to utilise structured and unstructured data sources
- Analytical and data mining capability
- Experienced in producing quality reports and deliverables
