IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Working with a global team providing technical support and ensuring our environments are well maintained, enhanced and have optimal performance. You will also be involved in delivering projects involving migration and deployments in Azure and Office 365..

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Ensuring Sedgwick's Environment and cloud platforms are available, secure, and performing.
- Managing, monitoring and reporting on Sedgwick’s Azure environments
- Combination of small-sized projects and BAU work with an Azure and O365 focus
- Configuration, administration, and migration plus the on-going support services of Azure and O365 environments
- Providing technical support and maintenance (incident, change & problem resolution) for Sedgwick’s environments and Applications
- Identify improvement opportunities as well as adopting new methods and best practices for Sedgwick’s environments
- After-hours or weekend support may be required

About you
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack
- Experience in Azure (PaaS / IaaS) and Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint)
- Relevant Level 2/3 experience working in a technical support or systems engineer role working at a Managed Services Provider or Company of similar scale.
- Experience in remote desktop environments, end-user computing configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments
- Experience with Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Ability to prepare quality written correspondence, and internal and external-facing documentation
- Customer facing support experience
