The Restaurant and Bar Manager role offers an exciting opportunity for the experienced hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their career.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
The Restaurant and Bar Manager role will involve:

- Oversight of the running of the department including determining work requirements and allocation of duties.
- Preparation and maintenance of Food & Beverage department rosters and attendance records.
- Planning, forecasting, budgeting and controlling all departmental costs.
- Assisting in the design of seasonal food & beverage menus.
- Oversight of day-to-day activity of Food & Beverage staff, and ensuring that training is coordinated, structured, and aligned with service standards.
- Taking a proactive approach to implimenting service improvements to drive departmental success.
- Driving patronage and revenues through in-house as well as local marketing.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required**
- 3-5 years relevant Food & Beverage experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, and
- An LCQ qualification, and a current Managers Certificate.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or related field would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
