The National Public Health Service within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

Are you an outstanding graphic designer with a passion for improving health outcomes? Do you bring creativity and the ability to execute design outputs for priority populations, including Māori and Pacific peoples?

We have the opportunity available to join our team as a **Senior Graphic Designer **in a permanent, full-time role.

The Whiti Ora team leads on social marketing, communications and digital for the National Public Health Service. We play a key role in implementing health promotion for Aotearoa and are at the forefront of innovative approaches globally.

This senior in-house design role takes a lead across priority portfolios of work for health promotion, including immunisations.

**Mōu | About you**

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design or commercial art, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years' design experience in a public health context or similar
- Experience designing for Māori and Pacific peoples
- Strong relationship building and collaborative skills
- Understanding of public health/health promotion
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022 Te Tiriti o Waitangi
