**About the role**

You will have the ability to multi-task across a range of activities for a variety of individuals, all while maintaining flexibility to accomplish deadlines.
- providing accurate administration support
- coordination for meetings, functions, projects, team events and travel
- phone enquiries including customer complaints and other requests are handled in a sensitive and timely manner
- gather information
- prepare draft responses for correspondence
- generate reports, including monthly reports for internal and external customers

**About you**

We're looking for a professional with a "can do" attitude who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are followed through to completion. You'll be customer focused, organised and produce work of a consistently high standard. You'll also be confident dealing with people at all levels and be able to maintain a confidential and professional manner at all times. While experience in local government would be an advantage, ultimately it will be your ability to build excellent relationships with key people within the team and business that will ensure your success. We're a supportive team, who understand the importance of working collaboratively to achieve a shared goal.
- Strong administrative skills to provide high-level support
- experience working within a team of managers who have continually changing priorities, and the character to respond appropriately and competently.
- high level of computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of products, with experience using SAP considered an advantage.
- While experience in local government would be an advantage, ultimately it will be your ability to build excellent relationships with key people within the team and business that will ensure your success.
