**As part of the Senior Management Team**
You will be the driving force behind the effective management of the warehouse. This will require you to maintain operational standards of safety and quality while leading, mentoring and coaching staff in delivering superior member service. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Sharing your contagious passion for member service to others
- Financial management of the warehouse
- Developing and implementing sales and merchandising plans for the warehouse
- Monitoring employee and store performance to ensure high productivity and compliance to company procedures and standards
- Ensuring quality and consistency of Costco operations
- Managing presentation, merchandising and inventory standards
- Approving orders for equipment, product and supplies
- Liaising with all areas of the Support office - Buying, IT, Finance, HR and Marketing

**Your Profile**
As a seasoned retailer, applicants must possess the following qualities:

- Vast and extensive management experience within a large format retail environment with a minimum annual sales turnover of $50 million or more
- Knowledge of merchandising to maximise product and store awareness is critical
- Knowledge of employee agreements and general compliance law
- The ability to manage more than 250 staff members with excellent people and communication skills
- Enjoy being "hands on" and getting involved in the operations side of the business
