**IN THIS JOB YOU WILL BE**:

- A high calibre leader who can bring out the best in others, create trust and loyalty with both our people and customers, whilst delivering excellence
- Leading and managing the strategic direction of large 3PL multi-client operations serving blue chip customers across multiple sectors
- Leading the strategic customer direction, utilizing your relationship and stakeholder management skills to meet and align customer expectations with business objectives across key account management, customer profitability, renewals and supporting the business development team with new business growth
- Accountable for operational and financial performance for your division based on our 3 bottom lines of employer of choice, provider of choice and investment of choice
- Leading and developing your management and overall team of ~200 staff
- Motivating and maintaining a sense of purpose for your leadership team and operation based on company values of respect and results
- Driving a culture of health and safety and risk management
- An active leader with a can-do attitude, who's passionate about doing things the right way the first time
- As part of the senior management team reporting to the Managing Director, supporting and driving our business direction and strategy

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE?**
- A strong senior leadership background with the proven ability to influence, lead and motivate across all levels and stakeholders to consistently achieve outstanding results
- An in-depth understanding of 3PL/ 4PL logistics including strong distribution centre and supply chain management skills is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strengths in relationship management and negotiation
- Proven experience in building high performing and highly engaged teams as well as growing talent through your adept coaching and mentoring skills
- Bachelor’ degree, MBA / Master degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience required
- Solid financial skills that include developing targets, maintaining budgets, and preparing business cases for new initiatives and investments
- Strong business acumen including commercial and contract negotiation
- Operational excellence leadership skills, ensuring standards are maintained and or improved as required, exposure to Lean and Six Sigma principles preferred
- Proven experience working in a large global company with multiple stakeholders, matrix reporting and shared services
- Strong numeracy skills along with open and highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to think on your feet, manage multiple conflicting priorities effectively and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
