Role overview
- Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Trust Account / Office Administrator to join their relaxed and friendly practice. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and ambitious individual to join this dedicated team of professionals.
Your duties will be varied and will include:
- Transaction processing and administration of the trust account;
- Daily balancing and monthly reporting;
- Office account transaction processing and payments; and
- AML compliance and archiving.
There is the ability to make the role your own depending on your legal skills and experience.

- Selection criteria
- This role would ideally suit a self-composed individual, who has a positive and pro-active attitude.
You will have experience in the administration of a legal trust account, including:
- Setting up of bank payments;
- Processing, balancing and reconciling the trust account on a daily and monthly basis;
- Preparing monthly New Zealand Law Society reports;
- Assisting partners and staff with statements and queries;
- Database management;
- Processing of office accounts; and
- Dealing with debtors and creditors.
A Police Check will be required for this role.
