**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

We are currently seeking a District Wide Administration Coordinator for Anaesthesia and Perioperative Services based at Tauranga Hospital with regular travel to Whakatāne Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours a week) in the office.

You will be providing district wide administrative coordination, direction, and support to the Surgical Services Team within Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.

This role is covered by the PSA National Health Administration Collective Agreement - Salary Band 6 - $77,452 to $88,168.

**He korero mōu - About You**

This position requires you to work closely with consultants, therefore you will need to be comfortable building relationships with consultants, happy with open dialogue, and be able to communicate effectively.

Due to the demands of this position, there will be a requirement for you to act quickly, efficiently, and decisively. Strong computer and technology skills are essential to be successful in this position. You will have proven time management skills, high attention to detail and good knowledge of patient information systems and medical terminology.
