**About the role**
As the Customer Insights Manager, you’ll be part of a future-focused team responsible for leading and delivering world class category strategies within Merchandise. This is a senior role with a strategic and people leadership focus where you'll be working with leading edge analytics to steer and drive organisational change.
As a strategic leader of a team, you’ll:
- Continuously lead and develop the team, nurturing a high performing culture, supported by strong capability
- Partner collaboratively with other Foodstuffs Divisions, Members and suppliers to deliver our customer driven aspirations, leading alignment and change management as required
- Proactively be across the latest customer insight, local and global trends
- Lead and play an integral part in delivering initiatives across the Merchandise plan with an “enterprise”, and “agile” mind-set
- Lead and embed the Dunnhumby statement of work delivery within Category Management and Price & Promotion workstreams
- Provide a clear strategic direction for Range and Space Management principles, policies, tools and processes
- Understand and develop solutions for our ongoing analytical needs, with Operations and Analytics roadmap design
**About you**
You’ll come with a proven track record of excelling in strategic and people leadership, along with the capability to build and maintain strong relationships and effectively influence both your team and key stakeholders. Ideally you’ve held strategic positions within the FMCG or a similar industry, preferably in medium to large retail organisations with a customer-focused approach.
You’ll also be:
- Organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to make change for the better and, most importantly, puts our customers first
- Able to interpret and share data driven insights across multiple platforms for audiences up to executive level
- Passionate about working with data at scale and empowering businesses through smart data-based recommendations
- Able to collaborate with others, clearly articulate ideas/concepts and effectively present to others
