**_ About the role_**

As our Project Specialist, you will ensure the professional and disciplined planning, management, and execution of projects. You will be working in a fast-paced, innovative, and constantly evolving company. Our aim is to deliver superior results for our clients, exceeding expectations and delivering excellent results. Your ability to work at all levels of the organisation from senior management to managing day-to-day site requirements, as well as building productive, professional and value-adding relationships both internally and externally is key.

In this 3 month fixed term contract requirement as a Project Specialist you will assist with working on PFAS/PFOS (carcinogenic) materials.
- Scope of work to be undertaken includes
- Isolation of PFAS/PFOS, procedures for handling (incl. All PPE),
- Onsite treatment methods where applicable i.e. filtration and wastewater treatment (incl. permitting requirements),
- Containment for transport, collection, transport requirements to then final disposal location (incl. EPA permitting guidelines, final disposal methods and certification of final disposal facilities for PFAS/PFOS materials).

This role is to review and determine the requirements, process flow a Cradle to Grave Waste Management system and document respective procedures as a project for 2 specific Client sites that will also enable InterGroup to provide a closed loop solution to the market moving forward.

**The technical stuff you'll need includes**:

- Tertiary qualification or education, preferably in the field of project management, engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, construction, applied management, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years in a project management role
- Advanced skills in financial management and budgeting
- Skilled in procurement and contract negotiations
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in an industrial or construction setting
- Understanding of client-facing project management methodologies

- Excellent communication skills - to converse with people at all levels
- Understands and applies appropriate environmental, health and safety principles to operational activities
