Our Community Adult Mental Health teams provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of people identified as having moderate to severe mental illness and associated psychosocial issues.
You will be joining our multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers, working closely with clients and their families and whānau to develop and maintain a wide range of skills to support and strengthen the recovery process. You will also work closely with referrers and colleagues from other agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we support. You will provide a wide range of psychological services including assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and therapy sessions.
This is a fixed term role for 12 months. The full-time equivalent salary for this role is $77,478 to $108,058 (step 1 to 10) based on the current APEX Psychologist MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications.

We are looking for a Clinical or Registered Psychologist with post-registration experience in a mental health setting and up-to-date knowledge of psychological interventions relating to mental health issues.
You will have excellent interpersonal and organisations skills and will be an active participant in our multidisciplinary teams. You will be the type of person who fits into a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines. You will engender confidence, trust and rapport with clients and their support networks.
