We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our enthusiastic and dedicated Surgical Nursing Teams working on Surgical wards 3A, 3B and 3C at Tauranga Hospital.

We are seeking applicants that have current nursing experience with preference given to those with acute surgical nursing experience as well as experience in medical settings.
- Surgical Ward 3A specialises in acute surgical settings including Bowel, Urology and Upper Gastrointestinal and medical patients. 3A offers a positive team environment and exciting learning opportunities for future career development.
- SurgicalWard 3B specialises in the care of patients undergoing elective and acute surgery. This ward offers high level care to clients undergoing predominantly vascular and Ear, Nose and Throat surgery and provides care to clients undergoing general surgical procedures.
- Surgical Ward 3C specialises in Women's Health and provides care to elective and acute care surgical patients, as well as care to medical patients. Preference will be given to nurses who already have expertise in woman's' health.

In these roles you will be supported and encouraged to develop your skills within the team - including progression via PDRP and post graduate education.

Our preferred applicants require broad knowledge, skills, and experience in the care of surgical patients however there is an opportunity to develop surgical nursing skills within our supportive teams.

We are looking for team players who are positive, passionate and are committed to excellence with a vision of moving the service forward.

To be successful in one of these roles you will have:

- New Zealand registration with a current practising certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
- A passion and a drive to make a real difference through your work and have a strong cultural awareness
- Desire for continued learning
