We are committed to helping staff grow in a safe and supported environment. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person to fill a permanent position for a Pharmacy Technician at Tauranga Hospital.
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week. The position will require additional rostered weekend work.
This role will involve working within the dispensary and include close liaison with Clinical Pharmacists and Ward Staff. Previous experience as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician is preferred. Experience with compounding is also preferred but not essential.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include:
- All aspects of dispensary duties
- Learning and working in all of our speciality services
- Stock Management
- Ward based technician duties
- Working closely with clinical pharmacists out on the wards

**The ideal successful applicant will**:
- Will hold a minimum qualification of NZQA New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) Level 4
- Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills
- Have the ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrate good organisational and communication skills
- Participate and comply with health and safety in the workplace
