**About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi
- As our GM Marketing, reporting to the Chief Innovation and Brand Officer, you will lead the transformation of our Co-op’s marketing function, making a significant impact and collaborating with senior stakeholders globally to shape the future of our brand.
- In this exciting leadership role, you will have accountability for the Fonterra brand, alongside our global multi-billion dollar channels, Ingredients, Foodservice, (NZMP, Nutiani and Anchor Food Professionals). Working closely with both our in-market teams worldwide, and our New Zealand-based teams, you will drive our ongoing success, ensuring that our brands tell Fonterra’s competitive advantage both globally and here in NZ as our home market.
- With your experience in both brand strategy and execution, you will guide this transformation by integrating innovative digital tools to enhance our marketing capabilities. You will also bring a valuable perspective from your experience in the creative agency world, ensuring we maintain the same level of precision, creativity, and performance within our in-house structure.
- You'll be instrumental in building a marketing team that operates with the energy and creativity of an agency. As you lead the development of our in-house studio, you'll ensure we consistently deliver content that resonates with our audiences and strengthens our brand. Your ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution will be key to creating a marketing function that is adaptable and forward-looking.
- With a strong focus on product and digital innovation, you'll explore new possibilities, including AI and other advanced tools, to streamline processes and improve performance. Your passion for experiment and the discovery of new, more efficient ways of working will ensure that our marketing efforts stay both relevant and future focused.
