Dealer Principal

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and oversee our Dealership operations in Pukekohe. We are a locally owned family business and have been operating for over 35 years.

As the Dealer Principal, reporting directly to the Director of the company, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of the automotive industry to manage the dealership. You may currently be in a similar position, a branch manager or are looking for your next step up.

You will be a versatile leader with a passion for the overall Dealership Financial Performance and Customer Service Excellence.

You must be a natural leader with a proven track record of bringing out the best in all members of our Sales, Service & Parts teams by setting them goals and targets and delivering outstanding results. You will thrive on building staff and customer relationships, identify, and pursue new business opportunities and expand our market share in our PMA. You must have a minimum 5-7 years of experience in automotive dealership management

Responsibilities & Experience of the position include (but not limited to):

- Management of the Dealership including Vehicle Sales (both New & Used), After-Market Service, Parts operations, and Customer Finance
- Develop growth strategies, by setting and meeting agreed sales volumes and profitability targets
- Develop marketing and advertising strategies to promote the dealership and to increase our market share in our PMA
- You must have strong business skills, including financial management, sales operations, marketing, and strategic planning
- You will use your strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire your team, set goals, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and support to team members
- Deliver an exceptional customer service experience and build strong relationships with our customers
- Exceed volume targets set by Mitsubishi Motors NZ (MMNZ)
- Ensure the Dealership meets all MMNZ minimum standards and strive to meet annual Diamond Dealer status
- Improving on our CSI scores across all departments
- In conjunction with the Director & Financial Controller establish and set KPIs for team members and yourself

An attractive remuneration package is on offer with a base salary, a company vehicle, and mobile phone. In addition, a performance-based incentive is on offer.
