ASB is seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Assurance Manager - Operations to lead our Financial Crime Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, compliance, and efficiency of our business processes.

You will drive strategies to enhance operational performance, risk management, and regulatory adherence, fostering a high-performing QA team and implementing process improvements to bolster our financial crime prevention measures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintain and enhance the quality, compliance, and efficiency of business processes within Financial Crime Operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance, risk management, and regulatory adherence.
- Ensure consistency in service delivery by maintaining quality assurance frameworks and best practices.
- Identify and escalate risk management and conduct issues, proposing areas for improvement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing QA team to ensure accurate and timely reviews, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance financial crime detection and prevention.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration in all QA activities.

- Proven experience in quality assurance, internal audit, or risk management, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Deep understanding of Financial Crime Operations, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Solid change management experience and the ability to implement process improvements smoothly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in quality assurance frameworks and a keen attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with data analysis tools and reporting platforms.
