He angitūtanga | About the role
In this role, you will report to Te Papa Atawhai's Human Resources Advisory Team Lead, while providing critical support to several Directors and their leadership teams. You will work closely with your portfolios Directors and Managers to understand their business needs and pain points and provide pragmatic advice to enable Managers to make the best decisions.
Your portfolio will be varied which will see your supporting operational field delivery teams as well as corporate teams. You will provide support across all HR workstreams including employment relations and performance management, organisational development and workforce planning, capability building and employee engagement, as well as recruitment and remuneration.

You will be an experienced HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor and be flexible, adaptable and agile in your HR practices and have extensive experience in providing best practice advice. You will be adept at balancing a varied and demanding workload, as well as providing both strategic advice and hands on support. You will be able to quickly earn the trust and confidence of your internal customers, where you foster new thinking and adaptiveness to coach and mentor leaders to respond to changing needs and develop high performing teams. A passion for Te Papa Atawhai's Kaupapa is essential.
