**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

Are you passionate about making a real impact in the fight against breast cancer? We are seeking a dedicated Research Fellow to join our team, to provide comprehensive support to a dynamic cross-disciplinary research team focused on the development of cutting-edge anti-breast cancer therapies.

You will collaborate closely with experts in nanomedicine, cancer biology, and clinical oncology. This position is instrumental in facilitating high-quality research outcomes. You will independently analyse, evaluate & present data and make sound and timely decisions and recommendations based on analysis of relevant facts, data, advice, experience, or judgement in relation to problems. You will need to be able to approach and undertake activities and responsibilities in such a way as to ensure that time and resources are well utilised, and goals are achieved.

This is a **fulltime** (40 hours per week), **fixed term** (up to 22 months) opportunity.
The remuneration is RF1 $94,981 per annum.

**Qualifications** He kōrero mōu | About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- a PhD qualification or equivalent in Pharmaceutical or Biomedical Science (Cancer Biology).
- Proven practical skills with the ability to carry out a range of research & laboratory tasks such as nano formulation, cell culture, cancer biology, pre-clinical studies in cancer research area.
- Experience in laboratory operations & maintenance.
- Experience in handling of pharmaceutical and biological analytical equipment & compliance to the regulatory documentation.
