**Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Auditor role in our Northern Region Internal Audit (nRIA) division. You will be reporting directly to the Audit Manager. Based at Penrose, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, team mentality, and above all customer focused.

**The key responsibilities of this position include**:

- Carrying out audit planning and fieldwork
- Preparing internal audit reports
- Providing quality internal audit and consulting services to nRIA’s clients

**Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako - Skills & Experience**

Ideally, we are looking for an Internal Auditor who has great attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and is Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. It will be an advantage to have experience in conducting hospital-based audits: IT, Health & Safety, Payroll, Financial transactions, Procurement, and be familiar with Oracle software.
- A university degree
- Qualification in one or more of the following would be an advantage:
o Chartered Accountant (CA)

o Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

o Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- At least 2 years internal audit experience
- Experience in writing audit reports
