In a time of growth Midlands are looking for an experienced, strategically focused Head of Growth who applies a great deal of understanding to international market trends, the importance of stakeholder management and has a natural flair for identifying opportunities with a focus on business development.

With full understanding of the significance of having a market presence, international travel is required

**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the General Manager the Head of Growth will be essential in developing and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships on a global scale. With your commercial mindset you will be pivotal in realising the organisation’s strategic aspirations. In doing this you will:

- Understand and identify international market trends to identify gaps and opportunities to develop and grow market share
- Maintain an existing loyal customer base and leverage this platform to grow business
- Deliver and exceed agreed targets
- Travel internationally to secure market presence and develop and enhance meaningful relationships
- Meaningfully engage with key stakeholders to broker mutually beneficial relationships to deliver successful outcomes
- Monitor and report on international sales and customer trends
- Proactively forecast customer requirements to capture these in the sales planning process
- Be and advocate for the Midlands brand by upholding Drive business grits reputation as a leading supplier of packaged New Zealand Honey and Honey products
- Develop and execute an annual account plan, and regularly update on progress via quarterly business reviews
- Actively contribute to increasing market share of Manuka products
