With some of the largest residential and industrial projects in the region underway and in the pipeline, BBO is expanding its Infrastructure Engineering team and looking to employ a Senior Land Development Engineer.

BBO has offices in Hamilton and Tauranga and provides consulting services in engineering (infrastructure, construction monitoring, structures, water resources, traffic, and transportation), planning, and land development. Despite its relatively small size (a team of 80+), BBO competes with major national and international consultants for commissions and has built a strong reputation for providing cost-effective, innovative, and practical solutions.

**The Challenge**:

- Project manage land development projects and professional service delivery from investigation through design, consenting, procurement, construction and handover.
- Lead technical development of projects and manage design delivery to achieve project outcomes.
- Manage client relationships with open, regular communication and excellent service delivery.
- Provide mentorship and training, technical direction and oversight to members of the Civil team.
- Work closely with other teams, approving authorities, subconsultants and contractors to deliver a seamless integrated service.

**Your Skills**:

- Hold a relevant civil engineering or surveying qualification. NZ Chartership will be highly regarded.
- Have a minimum of 7+ years’ related experience including prior consulting and land development, subdivision project experience and civil design skills.
- Prior experience (but no essential) using 12D design software will be highly regarded.
- Be proactive and enjoy taking ownership to deliver.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
