**What’s on offer**:
Our team is responsible for maintaining and operating the water in the Northland area (Whangarei and Kaipara) and we currently have 5 vacancies for either experienced Water Serviceperson's or people with transferable skills (such as civil, drainage, plumbing, farming) to join our busy team responsible for maintaining the network assets.

You’ll be working as part of a dedicated utilities maintenance team delivering the most efficient and quality driven service possible to our clients. Your key duties will include routine and planned maintenance of Northlands water networks. You will work within a committed team to collectively ensure our client's long-term goals are reached.
- All tools, uniform, PPE provided + work vehicle & phone after time in the business.
- Time and a half pay after 40 hours work per week.
- This is a full-time permanent role (minimum 40 hours), waged between $24 - $31 an hour, dependant on experience
- This role is offered as part of a union, so there are opportunities to earn penal rates, stand-by rates & call out rates.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will need to have a can-do attitude, be adaptable and flexible in your work approach with attention to detail, and strong customer service focus.

- A great attitude, willing to learn new skills and build a stable safe career in Utilities sector
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Water Serviceperson/ Technician, or similar industry
- Class 2 driver's license preferable, minimum full (Class 1) drivers license
- WTR endorsements with Excavator experience working around services would be preferred but not essential
- Ideally experience with PRV’s - testing, maintaining, servicing
- Reservoirs + Backflows - testing, maintaining, servicing and advantage but not essential
