Water Serviceperson

**Job description**:

**What's the job?**

Following a growth in workloads within New Plymouth, we are seeking Trained and Qualified Water Servicepersons. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Repairing and maintaining the water reticulation networks
- Working in small teams completing reinstatement works and infrastructure upgrades
- Work on a scheduled and reactive basis, and from time-to-time on a call out roster

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Good attitude and the ability to work with other people
- Physically fit and self-motivated
- Safety and quality focused
- Ability to work weekends and overtime if required

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Full Class 1 licence, and preferably with Class 2
- Hold a Level 3 or 4 Utilities Maintenance or Water Reticulation Qualification
- Previous contracting experience in drainage or water
