We are looking for a dynamic Ecological Restoration Contracts Manager to manage, coordinate, and expand our ecological restoration projects in Auckland. The position offers the scope for an experienced ecological restoration practitioner to lead and develop rapidly expanding ecological restoration teams, within an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Key elements of the role are:

- The management and delivery of ecological restoration projects, including H&S management, budget tracking, and client liaison.
- The management of our awesome restoration field staff.
- An in-depth knowledge of, and experience in pest plant control and/or pest animal control.
- Preparation of quotes, proposals and tenders.
- Ensure projects meet internal and external performance criteria.
- Mentoring our staff to enable them to achieve their full potential.

The role will require effective written and oral communication skills, with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including direct reports, for project management, reporting, proposals/tenders, preparation of ecological restoration and implementation plans, as well as performance and financial reporting.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably post graduate.
- A demonstratable interest and passion for working in the outdoors.
- Sound knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures.
- Sound knowledge and experience of ecological implementation practices in the field, particularly pest plant control.
- Experience in the management and delivery of ecological restoration projects.
