**What is the opportunity?**

We are currently recruiting for a **Procurement Lead** to be part of the Australia and New Zealand procurement team focused on ensuring the delivery of the Best Value Goods and Services to our New Zealand business through the effective use of the Procurement Process and commercial acumen.

This role will also be responsible for directly executing valuable sourcing events and the Procurement Policy & Process, including providing advice and guidance to the wider business.

Further to the above the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Engagement of business stakeholders and building strong relationships - trusted advisor to the NZ business.
- Collaborating in the development of Procurement Plans to deliver Best Value Goods and Services to support the New Zealand business
- Source to contract and Purchase to Pay
- Value Management and Reporting
- Commercial and Procurement Advisory

- Good stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build strong relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Good Experience in delivering Procurement value
- Source to Contract and Purchase to Pay experience - Coupa experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to Lead delivery of Procurement Events including supplier list, ensuring evaluation of responses by business stakeholders, final recommendation and supplier negotiation in allocated portfolio.
- Good Contract law knowledge & T&C negotiation experience
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously to deliver Procurement activities.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Conducts and operates with integrity and ethically.
