**The Role.**
Reporting to the Shopper & Insights Manager, you will be responsible for analysing multiple sources of data, deriving insights and reporting. You’ll be tasked with providing insightful and accurate information to optimise market range, space and category plans.

In this role you’ll be kept busy with a range of tasks, such as:

- End to end data automation - we have Nielsen scan, BI internal data through tableau, all in a raw format. In this role you’ll be responsible for the reporting side, making the data available in a format that our teams can understand
- Responsibility for range and space - you’ll use our data to allocate space to our products on shelf. You’ll know where the products should go on shelf and why. This will drive wins for us, our customers and our consumers too
- Taking the complex and making it simple - you’ll take our complex, raw data and then turn it into planograms for our customer and field sales team, so everyone is clear on how we best set up our range on shelf. You’ll also need to be able to explain why in a simple way, so everyone an understand
- Regular reporting - across our shopper loyalty card data, weekly share reports and ad-hoc sales reporting
- Supporting our stakeholders - you’ll work with a variety of great people across our trade marketing, field-sales and grocery team. You’ll be the ‘go to’ person for all those ad-hoc data related requests and our Nielsen expert.

You’ll join a highly engaged, driven and successful team in a role that is instrumental in driving the actions and outcomes of the Grocery head office and field sales teams. It’s an analyst role, with a big impact

**What Do I Need?**
We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn and understand the data, rather than just report the numbers. You’ll need a curious mind and a real desire to dive into the data for this role and find out the why.

We are looking for someone who thrives on adding value, who seeks out ways to do better, and who is focused on driving success. You are the brains behind our Sales Team, finding valuable insights from data, and highlighting key opportunities to our team. You will need strong communication skills, a passion for data, and be able to prioritise effectively.

Range and space experience is a big bonus for us, maybe you have had some exposure to space planning in retail? Or if you have already been exposed to category within FMCG, that’s a big plus too. Either way it’ll be great if you can bring your expertise of knowing where a product should go on shelf and why.
