**THE ROLE**
As a Project Engineer you will facilitate the construction delivery of a range of projects. You will have input from project kick off (tender stage) and operations, and handover to the management and completion of site delivery, ensuring that you and the team consistently meet the project milestones each and every time.

You will need to have a strong ability to communicate and promote a culture of health, safety and quality at every level of project operations.
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
- Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
- Assess potential risks, materials, resourcing needs and costs.
- Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies - problem solving is a key part to the role.
- Daily interface on site between the client’s representatives and the business, reflecting the company’s core values at all times.
- Support supply chain and subcontractor related to construction delivery.
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external.
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
- Hand over the resulting structures and services for use including all supporting documentation.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Degree qualified civil engineer - proven track record working on earthworks/drainage/civil projects.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a project engineer or site engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
- Project management and supervision skills
- Strong commercial ability in construction, including cost management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Team player, not afraid to roll your sleeves up.
- Be the glue that holds the departments together to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
