Te Tūranga | The Role
The Evidence and Investigations team, as part of the wider Response and Enforcement function, is responsible for investigating activities and conduct that pose risks to fair, efficient, and transparent financial markets in New Zealand. The team conducts forensic investigations relating to misconduct which presents a risk of harm to financial markets, collects and manages evidence, assists with the preparation and presentation of civil and criminal cases for court action, and provides investigative support services across the organisation. We now have a position available for a Principal Investigator to join the team.
He kōrero mōu | About you
You will come with strong technical knowledge across investigative strategies, legal requirements, investigative processes, court systems as well as industry knowledge and legislation. You'll be a seasoned Investigator, having a broad range of senior experience, ideally gained within financial services or you will have a forensic accounting, analytics or intel background. You'll have the ability to assimilate complex regulatory policies/procedures and provide timely and pragmatic investigative solutions. Along with this, you will have exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
