Are you a qualified baker or do you have a passion for baking and are looking for a fresh new challenge in a customer focused supermarket?

Centre City New World is a locally owned and operated business with a reputation for an extensive range of daily baked products.

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our Bakery team in this full-time position.

Although baking experience or trade qualification is preferred, on the job training will be provided if required.

**Hours**:
This is a Full Time, Tuesday to Saturday position. Hours to be discussed at time of interview. There will be some flexibility required.

**Your day to day will look like**:

- Carry out daily production of a range of baked goods in high quality products for our customers.
- Assist with daily production of instore made pies and pastries.
- Provide required product to finishing team to prepare for sale.
- Maintaining the highest standard of merchandising and customer service.
- Carry out adhoc requests or customer orders.
- Assisting with the development and training of all department staff and building a positive team culture.
- Assisting the manager in delivering strategies that ensure the sales and financial targets of the department are met.
- Daily clean down of department.
- Maintain high standards of Food & Workplace Safety.
