Join a newly created role to shape our operational policy in alignment with MBIE policy either at Advisor or Senior Advisor level.
About the Role
This is a dynamic and impactful role in a small team covering both policy and operational policy work. As an operational agency we are responsible for feeding into the policy process, operationalising the policy once it is set, analysing the operational outcomes to ensure we are achieving the policy intent, and working to suggest improvements to our products. You will support all aspects of this work, especially focused on our large funding products.

**You will also support the**:

- Support the development of policy underpinning our products and services.
- Support operational policy work to ensure our products and services achieve their policy intent.
- Work with our product and insights teams to gather information to analyse the performance of our products against their policy objectives.
- Shape up and present this analysis to look at options to improve the policy or operational policy.
- Operational policy work that is required to turn policy into products as services, and the policy work that underpins our wider product and service portfolio.

About You
You are passionate about learning and growing within the policy space and have a drive to analyse and communicate learnings well.

**You can demonstrate**:

- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- A flexibility to jump into a variety of tasks as required

Either experience in the Innovation space or understanding of policy and operational policy frameworks and best practice.
You may be in the private sector and wish to gain some government experience, or in the private sector and wish to work in a Crown Entity that works closely with the private sector.
