**About the role**:

- Work with the Policy and Communications Managers to design engagement activities for the community
- Manage the community funding programme and continue to develop support approaches for kaupapa Māori and other communities
- Manage the membership programme including annual member renewals & election process
- Lead & design member and stakeholder engagement through events both on & offline
- Understand and listen to insight from external relationships, to build outcomes for the community
- Manage and develop the Community Advisors

**About you**:

- Understanding and exposure to Te ao Māori
- Experience from within the charitable or community driven environment as an Engagement Manager
- Demonstrated experience leading philanthropic programmes
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong ability to engage, influence and build professional working relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
- Experience leading & mentoring a team, and supporting busy senior leaders
- Marketing background highly desirable.
