At Mitre 10 MEGA Albany, we are recruiting for an ambitious, future minded Team Member/Specialist for a full-time role in our Hardware team. The Hardware department includes Hand tools, Powertools, Fixings, Fastenings, and Automotive and is renowned for delivering exceptional customer service. Assisting customers in choosing products according to their needs, budget and outcomes sought is a given for this team.

**Initial Roster**:

- Sunday-Thursday (10:30-19:00) - 40 hours,

**Your skill set**:

- 2+ years’ related retail OR DIY experience.
- Hardware knowledge in one or more of the following: Hand Tools, Powertools, Fixings, Fastenings, Automotive)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting or handling stock
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.

**Your day-to day**:

- Answer questions and queries from customers and make recommendations where appropriate (provide information on products, across features & benefits and price range)
- Replenish stock, ensuring appropriate and attractive presentation in all merchandise displays, including correct ticketing and location, to maximize sales potential.
