**Who will you be working for?**
A design led manufacturing business, who are the largest company-owned manufacturing service network in New Zealand. With 4 manufacturing sites, their capacity to supply customers on time and in specification has significantly increased due to further expansions. **About the opportunity**
In this bespoke business, there are exciting opportunities and challenges as the company faces the pressures of modern manufacturing. For example, plant constraints, increasing costs, product quality and new product development. This role will be vital in ensuring these challenges are met and that the company is better as a result.

**What will you be doing?**
As a senior manufacturing professional your core responsibility will include:

- Oversight of production, planning, quality, supply chain and H&S, with a strong link to design and engineering
- Strategic planning for the medium to long term production, including scenario analysis of key metrics
- Maintaining an understanding of advances in technology such as through Industry 4.0 and their applicability to the business’ operation and looking at ways of implementing these
- As a transformational change Leader, you will have proven delivery of change in a complex manufacturing environment and taking your people on the journey.

**What will you need?**
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following behaviours:

- Proven strategic thinking in working with CEO and SLT to develop and deliver the business strategic plan.
- Experience of 10+ years in roles within a manufacturing environment across all areas of operations.
- Proven leadership attributes, including successful deliver of change in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Utilisation of advancement of Industry 4.0 technologies and the implementation of these
- A strong track record of empowering and improving others through regular hands on coaching and development.
- Previous experience in implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Resilient, hard-working, flexible and adaptable mind-set, to balance delivery of product plans with the development of product and processes.
