This is a **part-time** (0.4 FTE), **permanent** opportunity.
The remuneration for Senior Lecturer is SL1 $120,752 - SL8 $151,251, pro-rata
The remuneration for Associate Professor is from $157,822, pro-rata

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

We are seeking a self-motivated person who has the ability to work well as part of a team. You will have strong planning and organisational skills which will enable you to contribute efficiently to teaching and development of research interests within the Department of Surgery.
To be successful in this role, you will also have:

- A professional Health Qualification and hold a medical qualification registerable in New Zealand (MBChB) with training in Specialist Trauma Surgery.
- An interest in undertaking research in Specialist Trauma Surgery.
- Experience in Specialist Trauma Surgery, teaching and research is desirable. Interest in these areas is essential.

A Postgraduate research degree (preferably PhD) is preferable.
