**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We seek to appoint a **Professional Teaching Fellow / Lecturer / Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor**, dependent upon experience, to support mental health and addiction teaching in the School of Nursing. This is an exciting opportunity to be accountable for the preparation, administration and teaching of courses across all the School of Nursing programmes. You will also be responsible for integration of research into teaching, and University administration.
This is a permanent role, with a 3-year service leadership component as Associate Head Mental Health and Addiction where you will provide strategic leadership and coordination of mental health and addiction activities within the School of Nursing and across the faculty wide.
You will also have the ability to supervise research activities as required, in the School of Nursing. The role may require travel to be undertaken to deliver teaching across multiple sites.
This is a **permanent**, **fulltime** (40 hours per week) opportunity.

**Qualifications** He kōrero mōu | About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant and recognised postgraduate qualification.
- NZ Nursing Council registration with authority to practice in the mental health scope, and with a current NZ practicing certificate.
- Substantial experience in mental health and addiction nursing.
- Experience teaching and supervising nursing students.
- Experience in facilitating student learning, supervising and assessing students’ work and evaluating course content and delivery is essential.
