Te Au Reka represents the opportunity of a lifetime, making a profound difference to those who work in and interact with our courts and tribunals. This new digital case management system will help modernise the administration of justice in Aotearoa New Zealand. It will replace highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based processes, transforming the way people access and experience justice in New Zealand.
Te Au Reka is a large, complex and unique programme, spanning courts and tribunals nationwide. In delivering Te Au Reka we're challenging traditional norms in search of more innovative ways of working. We explore, learn and adapt to overcome hurdles and take advantage of opportunities. Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity
The Programme Architect is a pivotal role in the Te Au Reka Digital and Information workstream and will enable Te Au Reka to deliver its strategic and operational outcomes. It will be a major contributor to developing solutions definition for the Programme to meet the needs of the business and to comply with Ministry standards and technological guidance and guidelines.
As the Programme Architect, you will lead and contribute to the formation and implementation of the programme architecture, methodology and standards. To do this, you will keep up to date with global digital trends to ensure appropriate and current technological solutions are applied to our business, while working closely with the Ministry Architecture Community of Practice to support the co-existence of Te Au Reka with other digital products and services.

**To be successful in this position you have**:
- Experience providing technical advice to executive leaders and their teams to support effective decision making.
- Experience analysing complex information to enable strategic decision making.
- Experience providing ICT architecture leadership and advice that is pragmatic and future focused.
- Experience leading the development of programme architecture collaboratively and consultatively.
- Experience working as a strategic influencer across organisational business groups with varying unit goals but shared organisational goals.
- The proven ability to build and maintain a range of effective business relationships within an organisation and with a wide network of professional relationships across organisations.
- A sound understanding of All of Government ICT management principles and offerings.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role is between $122,745 and $171,640 based on skills and experience.
