We have the opportunity for a strategic **Solution Architect** to join our Transactions & Investment domain. This is an opportunity to work with new cloud based technologies, be involved in enterprise wide engagement and help drive the successful delivery of our core banking programme.

**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

As a senior member of the Technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Technology solutions supporting complex technology change across the Bank. Day to day you will:

- Develop and maintain the enterprise computing solution strategy for the assigned Domain which complements the Enterprise Architecture Strategy (EAS)
- Own delivery of architecture and design patterns and reference guides
- Provide thought leadership and guidance for enterprise activities to enable alignment to the EAS, compute solution patterns.
- Raise awareness of business and solutions constraints: Develop solution architectures which leverages strategic assets and minimises continued development on sunset assets.
- Specify the technology and its future directions, and work closely with wider Technology teams to ensure proper implementation.

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**

As an experience Solution Architect, you will bring proven senior experience within the Technology industry and strong Solution Architecture & Design experience (ideally 5+ years). We're also looking for:

- Knowledge of API patterns, practices and technologies
- Proven experience cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
- Knowledge of architecture, design and development patterns and toolsets, experience implementing and maintaining patterns and toolsets
- Proven experience leading architecture, design and development standards.
- Understanding of general architecture principles, the purpose of architecture, and popular architecture frameworks (TOGAF etc)
