We are looking for an experienced Editor/Producer to work on our Foreign Desk.

You will be immersed in World News. You will help produce our Midday Report Worldwatch programme, produce packages for Checkpoint and other programmes and feed breaking news to our Bulletins team. We are always refocusing on what the digital needs of our audience are for Foreign News. You can offer your strategic thinking.

**Ōu Pūkenga - About You**

You will be a proven and credible journalist who has:

- expertise in sourcing and writing stories and radio packages
- experience in tackling breaking news and the live coverage and analysis of rapidly moving news stories
- a good knowledge of and interest in global events
- awareness of social media platforms
- strong knowledge of digital publishing
- the ability to exercise sound news judgement and act decisively under pressure
