The key responsibilities of this role include:Being a key contributor and collaborator as a member of the IMD leadership team that creates a safe and flourishing environment for all staff and partners, so that the Ministry has trust and confidence in its information and digital service delivery now and into the future.Lead and manage a small team of IT service professionals specializing across the full service delivery lifecycle of service strategy, service design, service transition, 24x7 service centre/desk, and service integration, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed.Lead an advisory function for the IMD division that will drive improved performance and transparency in the delivery of information and digital services.We expect to appoint between $167,587 to midpoint $197,162 (total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution) give or take depending on your level of experience.We’d like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:Extensive experience in IT service management.Successful track record of business relationship management including managing alignment among key stakeholders.Recognized as collaborating well with peers, suppliers, and wider including across government or a relevant professional network.Ideally, you will also have a good understanding of tikanga (Māori customs and protocols), with the ability to weave te ao Māori (the Māori worldview) into your work.
