**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

We are looking for a senior inspector within the swimming pool compliance team. This role assists the Team Leader in the planning and managing of registration and inspection of all residential swimming pool fencing in the Auckland Region.

Reporting to the Team Leader Swimming Pools Compliance, you will case manage and provide specialist advice on the investigation, enforcement and resolution of complaints and enquiries in response to possible breached of the Building Act 2004 and other related legislation.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You have proven experience within building and construction, dispute resolution, and or mediation in a regulatory or law enforcement environment would be preferred for this role. You would also have a good understanding of local government or building legislation. Naturally, you will have great interpersonal and relationship management skills and a strong customer focus approach. Good verbal and written communication skills are non-negotiable for this role.

A full NZ Driver’s License is required and the ability to swim is a must for this role.
