You will have the opportunity to flex your hours up or down to suit your availability week-to-week. The causal team member role will vary with Lifeguarding or Learn to Swim, with Customer Service shifts and fitness consultant.
**Lifeguard**:

As a pool lifeguard, your keen observation skills, patience, and people-oriented nature will shine, allowing you to handle any situation with confidence and calmness. Take charge as you proactively supervise, interact positively with visitors, educate them on pool rules, and swiftly respond to any First Aid emergencies that may arise. **He kōrero mōu: About you**
Are You Up for the Challenge? As a Learn to Swim Instructor or Lifeguard, we want you to have some strong swimming skills to rock the pool **_You'll need to pass a swimming test in order to be selected for lifeguarding and swim school._**
- 200m freestyle in under 6 minutes,
- 50m breaststroke, 25m side stroke,
- Duck, dive, and retrieve objects from the bottom of a 5m pool,
- Tread water for 5 minutes. Show us what you've got
In addition to your swimming skills, we're looking for individuals with proven administration and communication skills, a track record of providing outstanding customer service, and excellent maturity and reliability.
As you'll be working on a variable roster, access to a reliable method of transport is essential
